Parsha is built to respect your privacy. In short: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you.
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information.
Your preferences — your reading schedule (Diaspora or Israel), text size, and reminder toggle — are saved locally on your device only. They never leave your phone and are not visible to us or anyone else. Downloaded Torah text is also cached on your device so it works offline.
To show the full text of a Torah portion, the app requests that text from Sefaria, an open, nonprofit Torah library. The app also checks for over-the-air updates from Expo’s update service. These standard requests may be logged by those services (for example, an IP address, as with any website), but the app does not send them any information that identifies you.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
